During his service in this position from 1990 until 2010, Frank became highly regarded in the industry due to his extensive knowledge and commitment to the success of marine related businesses. The MIASF was recently named as the Chamber’s “Business of the Year” and Frank was honored in 2007 as “Citizen of the Year” by the City of Fort Lauderdale. In 2010, Frank was honored by the MIASF with the association's coveted Golden Anchor Award. Frank is a strong advocate for family recreational boating, preservation of our working waterfront and the sound growth of our marine industry. He is well known politically and in the business community and is highly respected among his peers for confronting issues in support of marinas and yachting.  Through his affiliation with MIASF and other marine advocacy groups, Frank developed long term relationships with numerous industry professionals, as well as marina and yacht owners throughout the state. Prior to coming to Fort Lauderdale, Frank owned and operated the Anchorage Yacht Basin in Melbourne, Florida. The Anchorage was a full service marina and a major dealer for Chris Craft and Boston Whaler.
